Achira has developed ACIX - an automated, multiplexed, plug-and-play platform capable of matching clinical lab gold standards. ACIX is a microfluidics-based platform that combines a plastic disposable cartridge containing dry reagents and a portable reader.
Our next generation ACIX platform is capable of accommodating different sample types (serum and whole blood). ACIX’s rapid turn-around time of ~30 mins, low costs combined with minimal infrastructure and manpower requirements make it suitable for low resource settings that are under-served by diagnostics labs. ACIX has been clinically validated for TSH. Currently, a large menu of tests, including various hormone tests and infectious diseases panels, are under development. ACIX is intended for fast and accurate results in lab settings.
Diagnostics accuracy as good as they come. ACIX shows very high correlation with the Lab Gold Standards and Chemiluminescence systems.
Our proprietary sensor technology allows for highly sensitive immunoassays (down to low pg/mL limits) to be performed in point-of-care settings. The dynamic range extends over 5,000:1 allowing for both high and low signal assays to be performed.
